Why Totals May Change Before Final Certification
Election day totals are preliminary and subject to updates due to several standard post-election procedures:
Signature & ID Verifications: Ballots temporarily held due to missing signatures, signature discrepancies, or missing voter identification will be processed once verified.
Military & Overseas Ballots: Eligible military and overseas voters (UOCAVA) have additional time under law to have their ballots received and counted.
Cross-County Drop-Offs: Voters are permitted to drop off ballots at any Voter Service and Polling Center (VSPC) or secure drop box anywhere in the state. Other counties have up to 8 days following Election Day to forward those ballots to the Logan County Clerk and Recorder for counting.
Final Certification Schedule
Final OFFICIAL results will be posted on the town website once the official Canvass and Risk Limiting Audit are completed by the county canvass board, on or before November 25, 2026.
Thank you to all who participated in this election and cast their ballots to shape the future of our community!
