Fleming's 5th Annual Townwide Yard Sale is coming back this summer on Saturday, June 6th!
The Town of Fleming is currently collecting the addresses of people who would like their homes added to the flyer that will be posted on Facebook and the website throughout the month of May.

May 8th is the LAST DAY to add or remove your address from the flyer. No more changes will be made after May 8th.

April 6th, 2026 Planned Power Outage Statement Letter

The Town of Fleming acknowledges the inconvenience that was placed on our residents by the planned power outage lasting hours longer than expected on Monday, April 6th, 2026.

Many unforeseen events complicated the situation. We apologize for the extended outage.

The Town will work closely with WAPA to discover why the outage was extended and take steps to avoid delays from happening in the future.

If you would like to express your concerns, you are invited to attend the Town Council Meeting on April 14th at 6:30 PM at the Town Hall. All public comments made at the April meeting about the outage will be shared with WAPA.

Once again, the Town apologizes for the inconvenience placed on its citizens yesterday and will do our best to ensure it doesn’t happen again in the future.

The Fleming Annual Town Clean-Up Day is taking place on Friday, April 24th. Marick's Waste Disposal will be coming to pick up additional waste items. Make sure you read all of the guidelines; otherwise, Marick's will not pick up your items.

WAPA has finished all of their maintenance work on the power. Power should be back on for good. If you still have no power, please contact Town Maintenance. Please limit water usage for a bit, as Town Maintenance gets the wells turned back on and running. We appreciate everyone's patience and understanding.

Power will now come on at about 6 PM. It will come on for a few mins, then go off again. WAPA will be testing their work. Sorry for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience.

The power outage in Fleming is an isolated incident due to a garbage truck backing into a meter. Only a couple of homes were affected and the home owners have been made aware. Thank you!

Town Maintenance is aware of a power outage in parts of Fleming and is currently working on determining the issue and the extent of the outage.

The planned power outage for tomorrow, Saturday, March 21st has been CANCELLED by WAPA and will be postponed to a future date. The Town of Fleming will post about the next planned power outage as soon as we are informed when it will take place. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Local farmers & the public are invited to attend the Wildfire Mitigation Planning Meeting hosted by the Fleming Volunteer Fire Department on Wednesday, March 18th at 6 PM at the Fleming Fire Hall. Discussion will be on equipment and water resource availability during a wildfire situation. Dinner will be provided.
