Town Maintenance was unable to fog on Tuesday due to the weather. They are hoping to fog tonight at 7 PM, as long as the weather continues to clear up.
Today is the LAST day to submit your application for our full-time Maintenance Employee position! If you have mechanical skills, love working with equipment, and are ready to learn the maintenance operations of our town, don't miss this opportunity to join our municipal team.
💵 Starting Pay: $21.00/hr (negotiable based on experience)

As we look forward to celebrating Independence Day, please keep these quick neighborly courtesies in mind:
Be Mindful of Pets: If you choose to light firecrackers or bottle rockets, please be courteous of your neighbors and their pets. Many animals are terrified of loud noises. 🐾
Public Fireworks Show Courtesy: As a courtesy to the Fleming Volunteer Fire Department, please do not bring personal fireworks to the town display unless you would like the fireworks team to light them off for you.
Want to Add to the Show? If you do want the team to set off your personal fireworks during the display, please speak directly with a member of the fire department beforehand.

Fogging has been cancelled tonight due to wind. Town Maintenance will make one more attempt Friday evening around the creek on the south side of town, the fireworks field, and the parks before the 4th of July.
REMINDER: Town Maintenance will be fogging for mosquitoes tonight from 7 PM to 9:30 PM since they were unable to fog on Tuesday due to weather.

The first mosquito fogging of the year will take place tomorrow, Tuesday, June 16th, from 7 PM-9 PM.
Mosquito foggings take place on Tuesday evenings during the summer, around 7 PM, weather permitting, and all areas of the town are fogged. If weather or wind conditions prevent spraying, it will be done the following Thursday. Town Maintenance has followed this schedule for 30 years, and takes care to use products safe for everyone.
